I Hope They Call Me On A Mission
My attempts keeping this blog current has been feeble and for that I apologize. But I am starting a new adventure. I have submitted my paperwork to be a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I am very excited about it! It's been a long time coming but I made it. My Bishop just received all of the necessary paperwork so now it gets sent to the Stake President. I just have to meet with him and then it'll be sent off to Salt Lake! Lets hope the process continues to go smoothly and quickly. I'm trying to keep my excitement down to a minimum- but I am just soooo anxious! But all that will subside the second I know WHEN I'm leaving. I am a planner and like to have a general idea of what will happen when it will happen. So this period of it's-not-quite-sent-off-yet is driving me crazy! I'm trying to be patient though and remember that I will go at the time and place that is right for me and the people who I will serve.
Other than that everything has been pretty much the same... Work is going well and school is good. I'm looking forward to finishing at the Community College level though and thankfully that will be over in May!
Well my blog buddies, I hope you are all well. I'll catch up with you in a couple months! lol

I'MMMM BAAAAACKK!!!!!
So a friend of mine suggested that we start blogging again, and to spite her I wasn't going to. But that my plans fell through tonight, so here I am. Besides, a lot has happened since last December and I'm sure everyone is just dying to hear all about it!
I got that job at the US Attorney's Office, and it's been one of the greatest experiences of my life! I look forward to going to work everyday and find the entire process of law fascinating. I do pretty much anything the Attorneys and Legal Assistants either don't have time to do, or don't want to do. So it's something a little different everyday. Plus I work in a gorgeous building:

My summer has been spent there, and Pei Wei (I was never able to escape it) leaving little time to do anything chill. I'm excited to go back to school only because I'll have more free time and have a change of routine.
On to other things....
I recently moved, and I love my new apartment. It's so much closer to everything and everyone! I get along great with my roommates, which is always a plus. I'm only sorry I didn't find this place last year.
Well my friends, I hope you enjoyed this blog, as short and uneventful as it was. I will try my best to keep up with it.
Also, please visit me.

Finals
Today I have my last two finals and I decided to take a break from studying. My brain feels like mush. I have economics and math today. I'm confident that I can pull out an A in math, but economics might kill me. And by might I mean it will.
I'm so looking forward to going home. It's been a weird semester and I'm so glad its over. I will nothing to do all week. And unfortunatly the only time I was scheduled to work was Friday. So I'm going to try to skip out on that and leave a little early....
So this is the week that I'm going to find out about that job at the US Attorneys office. I really hope I get it. It would make life for me a whole lot easier, and its not Pei Wei. I'm not that picky, I just want to get out of Pei Wei.

I figured I would update, not because I have anything fantastic to say, but because my room's a mess and I'm way behind on my homework. Anything to postpone the inevitable.
Last night was the UA/ASU game. I had to work but UA, unsurprisingly, squashed ASU. After the game someone had the fantastic idea to go to Pei Wei in celebration of the triumph. And the entire stadium thought it was a good idea as well and came along. Greeeaaat night.
Also, my palm tree flurescent lamp just went out. I loved that thing and it was always very reliable in casting a comforting glow. Palm tree lamp, you will be missed.
On the upside, I decorated the apartment for Christmas and it looks great. My mother would be proud. We have a 6 ft tree all lighted with ornaments. A Christmas countdown calender complete with candy and the dining room is decked out with a christmas tablecloth and centerpiece. My roommates are probably wondering what they have gotten themselves into living with me. I love the holidays and I don't care if I get judged for it.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday, and that everyone does well on any finals coming up.

I have a new blog that I am obsessed with. It is titled "What Mormons Like" (I am not sure whether to underline or qoute blog names, I couldn't find it in my grammer book, so I did both)
Basically he dedicates his blog to all things that Mormons like. He exposes all things that we hold near and dear to our hearts. Like trunk-or-treating, Brooke White, musicals, receptions, and suburbs. I could go on and on, but I highly recommend you go check it out yourself.
Other than my latest discovery that has been a cure for recent boredom, school has finally caught up with me. I'm afraid I let my comfort level rise too high. I got a pretty low score on my last math test and I don't think I did too hot on the one I took today. eh, we'll see.
My favorite holiday is coming up and I am sooooo excited. I have always loved the idea of Thanksgiving. What other day is dedicated solely to the cooking of a feast? Its a wonderful time of the year in Arizona and it puts in the mood for Christmas. Only two more weeks!

How Far We've Come
So yesterday I was driving to work and I was approaching an intersection. There was a blue suburban in front of me and the light turned red. As soon as we had stopped the doors of the burb flew open, at first thought I assumed a Chinese fire drill was about to take place but much to my surprise two older men stepped out. They were at least in their 60s and were PISSED. As soon as their feet touched the ground they were after each others throats. Punches were being thrown back and forth, one guy had the other pinned against the car in a choke hold as he was being hit in the face. They started pushing each other and circling one another. Then they stopped, got back in the car and the light turned green and we all drove off. This was happening right in front of me and I had no idea what the appropriate reaction should be. I looked around at the other drivers pointing and throwing my hands in the air. They were just as baffled at this strange duel going down. When we started going I could not control myself and started laughing uncontrollably.
My day was not over yet.
After work, this is about 11 at night, I stopped at a mailbox to mail a letter and I was on the phone with Morgan telling her of the Ultimate Fighting I had witnessed. I was about to get out of my car to drop the letter off when something big and dark caught my eye behind me. Someone in a gorilla costume was just standing there by the mailbox! I almost dropped my phone and hurriedly drove away. I spent the rest of the drive and the majority of my morning trying to figure out why a person would be standing around in a Gorilla costume at 11 0'clock at night nonetheless! Any ideas? Discuss.
